SOME OF THESE DOES ARE WELL OVER 300#. I WISH I HAD 100 HEAD OF THESE TYPES OF DOES. WE ARE KEEPING ALL DOE KIDS FROM THESE DOES AND IN A FEW YEARS HOPE TO HAVE THAT MANY.
The doe is the backbone of an operation and must carry such attributes as hardiness, big correct conformation, good milk production & great mothering abilities. These attributes must be present first and all else come after. Our Does are expected to “work” for a living. You won’t find fat, pampered, penned grain fed goats here, but you will find well muscled, healthy & conditioned animals. Our does are run on a large variety of natural forage, grasses & plenty of exercise. They are able to maintain a hardy appearance & produce consistently strong, healthy kids all on their own.
